Pottsville, Pa., scored the winning run on a wild pitch in the eighth inning for a 1-0 victory over Dyer, Ind., in a preliminary game at the Little League World Series.

In the other American preliminary, Mission Viejo, Calif., beat Bradenton, Fla., 10-6.
