Flood Damage To Roads To Be Fixed

Shoshone County officials are moving ahead to repair flood damage from 1995, 1996 and 1997.

County commissioners expect to award a bid for repairs to Old River Road on the Coeur d’Alene River in September. The project was delayed to incorporate design elements that will protect residents and the roadway from future flood damage.

Work on Placer Creek Road is expected to begin this fall, while paving on Pine Creek Road is expected to start within the next few weeks. , DataTimes
