Vandalism Reported To A Dozen Vehicles
Vandals punctured tires on nine vehicles and scratched the paint on three more around Coeur d’Alene during a destructive weekend spree.
Coeur d’Alene police responded to vandalism reports as far north as Kathleen Avenue and south to Wallace Avenue. Residents of neighborhoods within several blocks of Borah Elementary School made most of the complaints.
Seventeen tires were slashed or punctured, including one 18 times, during the spree. Long scratches were left in the paint on three other cars.
Two of the incidents were discovered Sunday. The others were discovered Friday.
Damage to the dozen vehicles is expected to exceed $1,600. , DataTimes
