ANALYSIS

Seahawks probably couldn’t have picked a better opener - at home, against the worst team in the NFL a year ago. But the Jets won’t be pushovers with Bill Parcells calling the shots. New York is semi-dangerous because Parcells will start weeding out the mental mistakes that proved costly a year ago.

Seattle, though, cannot afford to lose this one before Denver visits next Sunday. Point production could be a problem, depending on Joey Galloway’s availability. , DataTimes
