High-Powered Cc Spokane Outscores Shoreline
Community Colleges of Spokane had five players score in double figures, led by the 21 of Charlie Gordon, en route to a 99-85 NWAACC victory over Shoreline CC Saturday at Spokane CC.
CCS rallied from a six-point halftime deficit by outscoring the Dolphins 54-38 over the final 20 minutes. The Sasquatch shot 58 percent in the second half on 19-of-33 shooting, including 3 of 5 from 3-point range.
Spencer Modesto scored 18 points and Jon Chatfield finished with 16 points for Spokane. Teammates Mike Mostek and Kurt Long added 14 and 10 points, respectively.
Gordon and Spencer each snagged a game-high 11 rebounds for the Sasquatch who had a 44-26 backboard advantage for the game.
