Jason Carroll erased all the long-range shots with one short putback.

Carroll rebounded a missed free throw and scored with 8 seconds left Tuesday to lift Sprague-Harrington (4-3) to a 60-59 non-league win over LaCrosse-Washtucna at Sprague.

The Tigercats (2-3) rallied with five 3-pointers in the fourth quarter. L-W’s Greg Whitman hit 4 of 6 3-pointers.

Jamie Sheckells scored 23 on 10-for-16 shooting from the field, and Chris Widger had 16 rebounds as the Bulldogs (1-4, 1-2) defeated the visitors from Walla Walla to snap a 19-game losing streak.

Lind’s last win was Dec. 14, 1996, against Christian Heritage. Freshman Mitch Vode added nine fourth-quarter points for Lind, which outrebounded Jubilee 36-27.
