Dear Heloise: In the tub alcove of one bathroom I placed some floor-length window drapes matching my wallpaper. No hassle. I just got a tension shower rod, threaded it through the openings for a curtain rod and placed it at the height needed for the drapes to hang to just above the floor.

I used artificial flower stems for tiebacks, recycled from an arrangement I was tired of. The wire is bent so that there is a loop that hangs in the hook of a plastic suction cup. This suction cup is stuck to the slick shower tile on the inside. - Frances Munson, Fayetteville, Ark. xxxx
