Marijuana Bust Ranks Near Top
The marijuana growing operation raided recently in Park County was one of the largest in the state during this decade, a lawman said Monday.
The raid Friday on a modular house near Livingston yielded more than 100 marijuana plants.
Gallatin County Sheriff’s Capt. Bill Pronovost, who directs the Missouri River Task Force, said the discovery was only the third time he has seen an operation in Montana growing more than 100 plants.
Nobody was at the property when the raid occurred and a warrant has been issued for the arrest of one man, said Park County Sheriff Charley Johnson.
Information on the operation came from a confidential informant, Johnson said.
Plants were being grown in four different rooms.
