Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: I have several children’s games that need replacement parts. Can you give me the addresses or phone numbers of major manufacturers? The game instructions list no resources for replacing pieces. Certainly, many people could benefit from information like this! - Terri Simpson, Slidell, La.

You bet, and the answer is as close as your phone. Just call 800 information (1-800-555-1212) and ask if there is a listing for the company’s name.

If there is no listing, you can call your local library and ask for the reference desk. They have reference books with phone numbers and addresses of most manufacturers, so they should be able to locate it.

Also, your local toy store should have phone numbers for toy manufacturers and may even have just the info you want. That’s all there is to it. - Heloise
