Weber State Loses Baskerville
Damien Baskerville, the Big Sky Conference’s leading men’s basketball scorer, may be sidelined for the rest of the season with a knee injury.
The Weber State guard, averaging 19.1 points per game, suffered a ligament tear in his right knee during the Wildcats’ 77-75 loss at Portland State on Monday.
Weber coach Ron Abegglen said Baskerville’s leg will be immobilized for three weeks before a rehabilitation regimen begins.
