Information Sought In Drive-By Shooting

From Staff Reports

Sheriff’s officials are investigating a drive-by shooting that left holes in a house Monday night but did not injure anyone.

Dennis Standish, Chad Stuck and Keri Strinz were in the house on French Gulch Road about 10:55 p.m. Monday when the shooting took place.

Strinz was the only one awake at the time, said sheriff’s Sgt. Kent Johnston. She was watching television in the living room when she heard gunfire and the glass in a door shattered, Johnston said.

Another shot hit the house just above the door. Investigators have confirmed that at least two shots were fired and possibly as many as four, Johnston said.

No one has been arrested in connection with the incident, Johnston said Tuesday.

Investigators ask that anyone with information regarding this incident call the sheriff’s department at (208) 664-1511.
