Routh-Corker Breaks St. George’s Record

Miranda Routh-Corker scored a school-record 41 points, pulled down 20 rebounds and recorded nine steals as the Dragons (7-6, 6-2) broke a second-place tie with Springdale (7-6, 5-3) in the Panorama League South Division.

Routh-Corker hit 15 of 29 shots from the field and 11 of 15 tries from the free-throw line. The junior broke Chrissy Peterson’s record of 38 points.

Routh-Corker was not the only scoring machine on the floor. Hillary Dixon led the way for the Chargers with 29 points, including five 3-pointers. She hit 9 of 14 shots from the field.

St. George’s press forced Springdale into 45 turnovers.
