Boy Found Alive 6 Days After Fall
A 16-year-old boy was found alive in a ravine six days after he fell 300 feet from a scenic lookout while climbing over the railing to get a better view.
Gabriel Robinson was rescued by helicopter on Monday and was hospitalized in fair condition.
Robinson told police he went to the Nuuanu Pali lookout north of Honolulu on Jan. 14 and slipped while climbing over the railing. He had no supplies and survived only on water from a stream.
He wasn’t reported missing for four days because his parents apparently thought he was staying with friends.
