Dear Heloise: Our local paper has paper recycling pickup places all over the town.

I noticed that people put cardboard and boxes in the paper boxes, so I started unfolding all cereal, tea, cracker and other boxes and putting them in my paper stack to go to the recycling bin. It only takes a minute or so to undo the ends of boxes and flatten them out. I formerly had two or three sacks of refuse to be picked up by the garbageman; now I have one bag each week.
