Wrestler Arrested
Canadian Olympic wrestler Ainsley Robinson was arrested on drug charges after a six-month probe and is suspected of being one of the leaders of a drug-trafficking ring.
Police also found a loaded .357 magnum handgun at his home and charged him with possession of an unregistered firearm and unsafe storage of a firearm.
Robinson, who is married and a father of two, could face seven to 10 years in jail if convicted.
Along with Robinson, 44 arrests were made in the probe, according to Constable Jamie Driscoll of the RCMP’s Hamilton-Niagara Region drug section.
