Lipton Instant Iced Teas Sweet, Drinkable

If it’s so hot that you have to have some iced tea, it’s too hot to go to the trouble of making it from scratch.

Lipton’s new line of Natural Brew instant iced tea mixes - which come in various flavors, using both sugar and artificial sweeteners - promises “real brewed taste.”

The lemon, full-sugar version we served to The SpokesmanReview’s reader food panel didn’t quite live up to that claim. Still, most panelists deemed it drinkable - although a few felt it wasn’t so hot.
