Michael Martin Murphey Sings Songs Of Horses

Cowboy renaissance man Michael Martin Murphey singer, songwriter, performer and scholar in Western studies has a new Warner Western album titled “The Horse Legends,” featuring new and classic songs about horseflesh.

“Each song is like a short story about a particular horse or type of horse,” Murphey says. “These are some of their many legends.

“Getting out in open country while riding a horse is one of my favorite things in life. Music is another. With this album, I was fortunate enough to be able to use one thing I love to celebrate another.”
