Mr. And Mrs. Nikula Laclede, Idaho

John Michael and Frances (Boardman) Nikula, Laclede, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a gathering from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday, in the Cheney City Hall.

Hosts for the event will be their children and spouses: Michael Nikula, Coeur d’Alene; Sam and Robyn Anderson, Cheney; and Rex and Ann Nikula, Gig Harbor, Wash.

The Nikulas were married June 21, 1947, in South Cle Elem, Wash. They have nine grandchildren.
