Most Of Robbery Money Recovered

From Staff And Wire Reports

The Robin Hood-style robber may have been caught, but it seems some of his beneficiaries have hung on to his spoils.

The FBI said several hundred dollars remained missing Tuesday from a bank robbery the day before in downtown Seattle.

FBI officials said a man held up a downtown branch of Washington Federal Savings about 3 p.m. Monday, walked outside with the money and started giving it to passers-by.

While not disclosing the amount taken, FBI spokeswoman Roberta Burroughs said officers recovered all but several hundred dollars shortly after the robbery, most of it from the alleged robber himself.
