Easley Golf Tournament Begins

The fifth-annual Ken Easley Celebrity Golf Tournament opens its three-day run today at 1:30 p.m. at Indian Canyon Golf Course.

The tournament, which benefits the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center and the Wishing Star Foundation, features 54 holes of handicapped medal play, along with a team best-ball competition each day. More than $8,000 in prizes will be awarded.

Among the celebrities scheduled to compete are former Seattle Seahawks Jacob Green and Terry Taylor, current Seahawks quarterback John Friesz and former NBA standout Leonard “Truck” Robinson.

The tournament moves to Downriver Golf Course Saturday and wraps up Sunday at The Creek at Qualchan Golf Course. There is no charge to watch. , DataTimes
