Cooke’s Widow Sues
The widow of Washington Redskins owner Jack Kent Cooke sued Cooke’s son, claiming she should get up to a third of her husband’s estimated $825 million estate.
Marlena Cooke sued to overturn a prenuptial agreement her husband used to disinherit her. Cooke cut his wife out of his will 13 weeks before he died April 6, claiming she had violated the agreement.
Cooke, who was 84, did not specify how his controversial and sometimes estranged fourth wife had violated the agreement.
