Mr. And Mrs. Joyer Spokane

Vernon and Peggy Joyer, Spokane, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a gathering at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Park Place Retirement Center.

Hosting the event will be their children and spouses: Jackie and Mike Spurlock, Mike Joyer and Teri Joyer, all of Portland; Margaret and Jim Egeland, Spokane; Janet Joyer and Helmut Schroeder, Ashland, Ore.; and Tami and Dan Buhrmaster, Scottsdale, Ariz.

The Joyers were married June 14, 1947, in Spokane. They have six grandchildren.
