Osu Coach Not Interested In Florida St. Basketball Job

Oregon State basketball coach Eddie Payne says he’s not pursuing the head coaching job at Florida State.

Payne has been mentioned as a possible successor to Pat Kennedy, who left Florida State to become coach at DePaul. Florida State athletic director Dave Hart hired Payne as head coach at East Carolina in 1991. Payne is expected to hire Dave Campbell to replace former assistant coach George Felton, now an assistant at Kentucky.
