‘Kolya’ Touches Head And Heart

If you haven’t yet seen “Kolya,” then you’re missing one of the smaller movie joys to have played Spokane. It concerns the relationship between a sixtysomething Czech man and the 5-year-old Russian boy he adopts. Forced to change his directionless lifestyle, the man evolves into someone the boy feels free to love.
