Taylor Hospitalized After Having Seizure

Compiled From Wire Services

Elizabeth Taylor suffered a seizure and was hospitalized Saturday, nine days after surgeons removed a brain tumor, her publicist said.

“She’s fine now. She was OK and talking in a few minutes (after the seizure),” spokeswoman Shirine Ann Coburn said.

Hospital spokesman Ron Wise said Taylor was sitting up and alert.

“This is not serious. This is not uncommon,” Wise said.

Taylor, who turned 65 on Thursday, was stricken by the seizure about 4 p.m. at her Bel-Air home.
