Um Enrollment Tops Record

The University of Montana is enrolling 11,565 students, a spring-semester record.

The spring enrollment is 185 students greater than last year’s spring figure, but below UM’s all-time enrollment record of 11,886, set last fall.

Registrar Phil Bain said the university offered more courses this year, especially at the UM College of Technology.

‘That opened the pipeline a little bit wider,” he said.
