Cash Available To Protect Kids

The Idaho Children’s Trust Fund is accepting applications for a $50,000 grant to serve Hispanic and/or Native American children and families in Idaho.

The grant is available to any nonprofit or public organization and must be used to reduce the risk of child abuse and neglect.

The funds will be available in July.

The deadline for application is May 1.

The trust fund was established by the Legislature in 1985.

Among its funding sources is a checkoff on the state income tax form.
