Writing Project Leader Will Address Teachers
A national writing expert will address teachers in Coeur d’Alene on March 14.
Richard Sterling, director of the National Writing Project, will speak at a meeting open to all teachers regarding trends in writing reform and on writing standards for kindergarten through 12th grade.
Sterling is the founder of the New York City Writing Project as well as the Urban Sites Network and the Institute for Literacy.
The event, sponsored by the Northwest Inland Writing Project, will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Coeur d’Alene Inn. It will include small group discussions.
