Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: This works great for me: I divide my coupon box in two sections for each category.

In the first part I file my coupons by expiration date, starting with the most current and following with the later dates. The second half has all my no-expiration coupons and I do not have to keep looking through them, as they are all together and do not expire. - L.G. Melnick, South Deerfield, Mass.

Dear Heloise: When I need a box for mailing items, I find the right size I want and take the box apart. I literally turn it inside out, thereby making a clean, new, unprinted outside. I tape up the seam with wide, clear plastic tape, and address for mailing.

Some boxes have tuck-in corners and need no taped-up seam. I also have opened paper bags when I need brown wrapping paper for mailing packages. - Charlotte A. Adams, Grand Isle, La.
