Police Release Sketches Of Suspect

From Staff And Wire Reports

Police have released two sketches of a man suspected of trying to abduct children in the Coeur d’Alene area.

Two girls in separate cases have reported that a similar-looking man approached them last month.

“There are enough similarities to indicate this is possibly the same guy involved,” said Coeur d’Alene police Lt. Don Jiran.

The man is described as a white man, about 6 feet tall, in his late teens to mid-20s. He has brown hair. In one of the incidents he was wearing a blue baseball hat.

The man’s car is described as an older model two-door vehicle colored primer gray. It may have a hatch back. The interior is a black or dark green vinyl-type material.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to call the Coeur d’Alene Police Department at (208) 769-2320. , DataTimes ILLUSTRATION: 2 sketches
