Science Fair Opens This Weekend

Nearly 700 innovative projects will be displayed during this weekend’s Coeur d’Alene School District Science Fair.

It will be held at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds. Judging will be done this morning. The public is invited to view the exhibits from 3 to 6 p.m. today, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

School groups will visit the science fair Monday and Tuesday. An awards assembly will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Coeur d’Alene High School Auditorium. Ribbons will be awarded to first, second, third and honorable mention at every grade level.
