Nbc Leads The Ratings Even With Repeat Shows
During a repeat-laden week that drove viewers away from all four major networks, NBC managed another ratings win.
“Seinfeld” and “Friends” were the week’s top-rated programs, although both were repeats of episodes shown earlier this year, Nielsen Media Research reported.
CBS seems to have found an audience for its comedy, “Everybody Loves Raymond,” by moving it to Monday night, where it finished 24th last week. NBC’s new “Something So Right” finished a strong 31st, while ABC’s “Arsenio” rebounded slightly to 41st.
But NBC’s “Crisis Center,” CBS’s “EZ Streets” and Fox’s “Pauly” are all new shows desperately seeking an audience.
