Nike’s Expansion Won’t Include Idaho

Nike, the Oregon-based shoe and athletic apparel giant, won’t be coming to Idaho.

Howard Slusher, an assistant to Nike Chairman Phil Knight, visited Boise and other state capitals in the western United States and Canada earlier this year to discuss possible economic opportunities.

Nike is narrowing its list to four or five states, but Idaho isn’t one of them, Slusher notified state officials by letter this week.
