ESPN analyst and former Notre Dame basketball coach Digger Phelps withdrew his name from consideration for the coaching vacancy at DePaul.

Phelps was considered as a replacement for Joey Meyer, who resigned as head coach April 28.

Jim Fox resigned as broadcast marketing chief of the U.S. Olympic Committee after a Colorado prosecutor ended a probe of his involvement in the misuse of millions of dollars in amateur boxing grants. Reportedly, no charges will be brought against Fox.
