Max Mickey Lincoln City, Ore.
No service will be held for Max D. Mickey, 81. Cremation was held in Portland.
Mr. Mickey, who was born in Moscow, Idaho, died Thursday.
He graduated from North Central High School and served in the Navy during World War II.
Mr. Mickey worked as a long haul truck driver for Pieroni Produce in Spokane.
He moved to Lincoln City about 20 years ago.
His wife, Virginia, died in 1972.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Spear and Julie Rector both of Spokane; two sons, Jim Mickey of Spokane and Max Mickey of Santa Barbara, Calif.; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
John ‘Jack’ Stowell Spokane
Memorial service and reception for John F. “Jack” Stowell, 76, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Heritage Funeral Home.
Mr. Stowell, a lifetime Spokane resident, died Thursday.
He graduated in 1939 from West Valley High School and served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
Mr. Stowell retired from the building maintenance staff at Deaconess Hospital in the 1980s.
He is survived by a nephew, Thomas Stowell; a niece, Kathleen Stowell Chase; his aunt, Clara Lorsung and four cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane.
Viola Fischer Spokane
Service for Viola N. Fischer, 92, will be at 10 a.m. today at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.
Mrs. Fischer, who was born in North Dakota, died Thursday.
She had lived in Spokane since 1941 and was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Golden Age Eagles Spokane Lodge No. 2.
Her husband of 65 years, Anton Fischer, died in 1991.
Mrs. Fischer is survived by three sons, Gordon, Merlyn and Guerin Fischer; four daughters, Ardell Glover, Audrey Hunt, Britta Hulbert and Venita Dupree; a sister, Edith Carlson; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or Parkinson Educational Program.
Frances Payne Deer Park
Service for Frances Maud Payne, 77, was Sunday at the Deer Park Seventh-day Adventist Church. Burial was at Elk (Wash.) Cemetery No. 1.
Ms. Payne, who was born in Roundup, Mont., died Thursday.
She graduated from Riverside High School and was a homemaker.
Ms. Payne was a member of the Deer Park Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
