Boxer Denies Charges

Former WBA heavyweight champion Bruce Seldon’s manager said the boxer is innocent of charges he sexually assaulted a 15-year-old.

“He denies having sexual contact with her, and he denies knowing her age,” said Rocco DePersia, the boxer’s manager and lawyer.

On Wednesday, police said a 15-year-old girl arrived at headquarters that afternoon, claiming that nine days ago Seldon picked her up while she was walking in Atlantic City. She said he took her to his house in Gloucester Township and that he raped her three times.

That never happened, DePersia said.
