Sasquatch Men Stop Western
Community Colleges of Spokane had four players score in double figures Saturday, led by the 14 of Kurt Long, en route to a 77-65 men’s victory over the visiting Western Baptist junior varsity.
The Sasquatch shot 50 percent from the floor, despite making just 2 of 12 shots from 3-point range.
Mike Mostek tossed in 13 points for CCS. Charlie Gordon added 12 and a team-high six rebounds, and Modesto Spencer chipped in 10 points.
CCS had a 17-4 advantage at the free throw line. Western Baptist stayed within striking distance by knocking down 13 3-pointers in 31 attempts.
