Danny McIntyre scored less than 4 minutes into the match Friday, then added a second-half goal in the University of Detroit’s 4-0 victory over Washington State in a women’s soccer match at Minneapolis.

The Titans (2-0) have outscored opponents 9-0. WSU (1-1) hadn’t lost by such a margin since a 1995 match against third-ranked Portland.

Simon Fraser defeated Whitworth 3-0 at the NAIA/CIAA Crossover Tournament in Burnaby, British Columbia. The Pirates are 0-1.

Men

Jeff McAllister broke a scoreless tie at 62:21 and Gonzaga University (2-0) held on for a 2-1 win over Nevada-Las Vegas in the Coors Light Invitational in Las Vegas.

Brian Ching lifted the Zags to a 2-0 lead at 76:20.

Kenny Krestian had one goal and one assist to launch Whitworth (1-0) to a 3-0 lead during a 3-2 non-conference decision over visiting Concordia (0-1).
