John Jones, employee of Hastings Music and Video, reported Wednesday the $409 theft of two movies and four video games when they were rented and not returned to the business at 101 Appleway.

Casey Neal reported Wednesday the $3,200 theft of fishing tackle from a boat while it was parked in his yard on the 2900 block of Julia Ave.

Marne Maki, employee of Mellon Mortgage Co., reported Monday the $10,000 theft of a laptop computer from the business at 1000 Northwest Boulevard.

Kootenai County sheriff

Shelly Schnell, Hayden, reported Wednesday the $2,594 of a car stereo system and compact discs from her car while it was parked at her home on the 11800 block of Diamond Drive.

Donald Dorey, Athol, reported Wednesday the $1,600 theft of a welder and tools from his home on the 22900 block of Estates Road.

David Wallace, Coeur d’Alene, reported Wednesday the $550 theft of four speakers from his car while it was parked at his home on the 5600 block of Davenport St.

Steven Kraack, president of Black Lake Shores Association, reported Monday the $1,200 theft of a dock from Black Lake near Harrison.
