Dear Heloise: When I travel and take my jewelry with me, I have an easy way to mix and match outfits with the jewelry.

When I fold my clothes and put them in the suitcase, I put my skirts, slacks, blouses and a zipper-type plastic bag of jewelry to match. It’s really convenient to have them organized like that rather than putting all of them in a box or bag.

Dear Heloise: When I buy loose facial powder, I save the container. That way if the powder in my compact breaks, I can crush it and put it in that container. I use a brush to apply it, but at least I don’t waste good powder. Tabitha Rose, Franklinton, La.
