Police Check Two Cars In Bicyclist’s Death
Spokane police are examining two cars to see if they were involved in a hit-and-run collision that killed a Spokane bicyclist last week.
Acting on a tip, accident investigators towed one of the cars to a police garage Monday afternoon.
They will send samples from both cars to the Washington State Patrol crime laboratory for tests, said Dick Cottam, police spokesman.
Harold Grammer, 31, was struck a week ago today as he pedaled up Sunset Hill to his job at a foundry in west Spokane.
The accident occurred about 5:20 a.m. near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and F Street. Grammer, a newlywed, died of his injuries the next day.
Police received nearly 50 tips and have interviewed dozens of people in the case but had made no arrests as of Monday evening. , DataTimes
