Mamma Needs A Lesson In Garlic Bread Making
Since we were assembling sort of an early Mother’s Day menu for our reader food panel, and we were serving lasagna, when we saw a frozen garlic bread from a company called Mamma Bella, we couldn’t resist.
We should have. While the basic bread was OK, it was overly oily to most tasters, with little garlic flavor.
Maybe it’s in your nature, Mamma, but it’s not nice to fool the food panel.

Comments: “Bread is soggy in the middle - an awful lot of grease for so little butter flavor. No garlic taste but it leaves an aftertaste of garlic powder. Bad breath without the pleasure of garlic bread.” - Catherine Lunt Greer
“Save your money; buy a loaf of French bread and do it yourself.” - Rich Clemson
