Two Men Arrested After 600 Pot Plants Seized
Police seized more than 600 marijuana plants and arrested two men after searching four Spokane apartments late Wednesday, officers said.
Joshua G. LaTendressa, 26, of 8424 N. Nevada, and James G. Mason, 33, of 1109 N. Walnut, were booked into the Spokane County Jail. Each was charged with manufacturing a controlled substance.
Officers executed search warrants at the Nevada and Walnut addresses as well as at apartments at 408 E. Ninth and 908 E. Fifth.
Police said they found 127 plants at the Ninth Avenue location, 178 plants at the Walnut apartment and more than 300 plants at the Fifth Avenue apartment.
The mature plants are worth $1,000 to $2,000 apiece, investigators said.
