Woman Arrested At G-Prep

From Staff

A pregnant woman was arrested Friday when she was found rummaging through a locker room at Gonzaga Prep, according to Spokane police.

Angela Joy Thompson, 18, gave officers a driver’s license but couldn’t correctly spell the name on it when asked by officers. The license was stolen, police learned.

Thompson was described by police as a transient. She had four other aliases, along with a warrant for her arrest on four felony counts and an extraditable forgery warrant from Kootenai County, Idaho.

Police took her to a local hospital for an examination, where it was determined she was about eight and a half months pregnant. She was then booked into jail on second degree burglary. Police recovered some evidence that was identified as stolen from the G-Prep gymnasium area.
