‘Gretel’ At The Cathedral

“Gretel and Hansel - A Gingerbread Family Opera” will be presented during two free performances at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. The performances begin at 4 and 7 p.m. Sunday.

The one-hour show is suitable for all ages and will include music by the Spokane Youth Orchestra, singers from the Spokane Area Children’s Chorus and dancers from the Ballet Arts Academy.

The performances are underwritten by the Johnston-Hanson Foundation. No tickets are required; early arrival is encouraged.

The doors will open one hour prior to each performance, and pre-concert music will be provided by organist Charles Bradley.
