Garfield-Palouse scored just four points during the first 7 minutes, 49 seconds of Saturday’s fourth quarter.

That was enough, however, to set up a 42-39 non-league win over Reardan at Garfield.

Jason Fox hit two free throws with 10 seconds left for a 40-39 Vikings lead, and Trevor Tharp added a layup off an inbounds pass.

Peter Eastman’s basket with 20 seconds left had given Reardan a 39-38 lead.
