Lake City Tops Sandpoint
Border League
Lake City recovered from three lackluster quarters behind backup wings Jeff Schuh and Connor Quinn to over take visiting Sandpoint 61-56 Saturday in a Border League boys basketball game at Coeur d’Alene.
Schuh had 10 of his team-high 18 points in the fourth quarter as Lake City rallied from a 50-44 deficit with 4:28 to go. Quinn added six points in the final 4 minutes.
Lake City hit 13 of 21 free throws in the fourth quarter as four Bulldogs starters fouled out.

Josh Miller added 11 rebounds, and Jon Garrett had five assists and five steals for the Trojans. CdA’s Jeff Rupp made 4 of 10 3-pointers.
