Backing Off

First lady Hillary Rodham Clinton is trying to stay off her feet as much as possible this holiday season after aggravating a previously pulled back muscle. The injury, suffered last spring, flared up last week as a result of too much walking and standing during several days, Clinton’s spokeswoman, Marsha Berry, said Tuesday. Despite the stiffness, Clinton has continued with her holiday activities. But she was moving slowly as she greeted Washington area children who went to the White House on Tuesday to hear her and President Clinton read a holiday story, “A Visit From St. Nick.”
