Ex-Cougar Sparks Rays Past Reign

Associated Press

Jenni Ruff, a former Washington State star, who is normally an afterthought on the Long Beach bench, rallied the StingRays to an 83-67 victory over the Seattle Reign in front of 3,403 fans at Mercer Arena in Seattle Friday night.

When Ruff, who made all three of her 3-point attempts and scored nine points, came in, the StingRays went on a 12-0 run, turning a 44-42 deficit into a 54-44 lead.
