Wilbur-Creston Wins Division Title
Boys basketball
Sorrel Katich scored with 30 seconds left and then Wilbur-Creston forced two turnovers to grab the Bi-County League West Division title with a 47-45 win over Odessa Saturday night.
Katich scored all 15 of his points in the second half for the visiting Wildcats (13-6, 12-2), who were down six points at the half and five entering the fourth quarter.
W-C takes the No. 2 seed into the league tournament this week.
Four players scored in double figures for Odessa (13-6, 11-3), which wound up third-seeded. East Division champion Valley Christian has the top seed.

Dale Buchanan hit five of six 3s for 28 points and Cody Rodenbough four of seven for 21 points for Davenport.

Erich Prazak hit eight of 11 shots and scored 20 points as the second-ranked Cougars (17-3, 13-3) rolled to an easy win over the Tigers (15-5, 13-3) for the North Division title.
The Cougars held the Tigers without a field goal for the first 11-1/2 minutes. Jeremy Groth had six assists and six steals for Curlew, Gunner Olsen had four blocked shots and Prazak pulled down eight rebounds.
